한국에서 술자리나 파티에서 분위기를 가볍게 띄우기 위해 즐길 수 있는 게임들이 있는데, 함께 배우고 즐기는 시간을 보냈어요.
There are many different games, and the one we played today is called the "If I Go to the Market" game. This is a game where you can practice various items found in the market in Korean while also improving your memory. Playing the "If I Go to the Market" game gave us a valuable time to learn words I didn’t know before.
다양한 게임들이 있는데, 오늘 진행한 게임은 "시장에 가면" 게임이랍니다. 시장에 있는 다양한 아이템들을 한글로 연습을 하고 기억력까지 높일 수 있는 게임이예요. "시장에 가면" 게임을 하면서 내가 몰랐던 단어도 배우는 알찬 시간을 보냈어요.
By the way, at edm Korean Global Campus, alcohol is not allowed! We enjoyed the game with various snacks and drinks instead.

“If I go to the market” Game Rules
1. Set up a circle : Players sit in a circle & Decide who starts first.
2. First player speaks : Say "If I go to the market, There are OO."
3. Next player repeats + adds : The second player must repeat the first player’s items in order and then add a new item:
Say "If I go to the market, there are clothes, and there are bananas too. "
Third player: repeat all previous items + add one new item.
4. Penalty for mistakes : Forgetting an item, mixing up the order, or hesitation → drink (or another agreed-upon penalty).
5. Game continues : The list grows longer, testing memory and concentration.
"시장에 가면" 게임 방법
1. 원형으로 자리 잡기 : 참가자들은 원을 만들어 앉고, 누가 먼저 시작할지 결정합니다.
2. 첫 사람이 말하기 : “시장에 가면 00가 있고”라고 말하기
3. 다음 사람 : 반복 + 추가 : 두 번째 사람은 이전 사람의 말과 자기 아이템 추가
"시장에 가면 옷이 있고, 바나나도 있고~"
그 다음 사람 : 이전 사람 모두 + 자기 아이템 추가
4. 실수 시 벌칙 : 아이템을 잊거나, 순서를 섞거나, 주저하면 → 술을 마시거나 다른 합의된 벌칙 수행
5. 게임 계속 진행 : 아이템 목록이 점점 길어지며, 기억력과 집중력을 시험합니다.
Everyone had a great time playing the "If I Go to the Market" game together. Since it involves actions and movements, everyone enjoyed it a lot, and it was also a wonderful opportunity to learn new words, making the experience both fun and educational.
모두 함께 “시장에 가면” 게임을 하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈어요. 동작과 율동이 포함된 게임이라 모두가 재미있게 즐겼고, 새로운 단어를 배울 수 있는 훌륭한 기회이기도 해서 즐겁고 유익한 시간이였답니다!
