Hello! This is edm Korean Global Campus :D Today, we visited the Seoul Museum of Art – Seosomun Main Branch near City Hall Station with our students.
안녕하세요! edm 한국어학원입니다 :D 오늘은 우리 학생들과 함께 시청역 근처에 있는 서울시립미술관 서소문본관에 다녀왔어요.
The Seoul Museum of Art operates several
branches, including the Seosomun Main Branch, the Buk-Seoul Museum of Art, and
the Nam-Seoul Museum of Art. This time, we chose the Seosomun Main Branch,
which is conveniently located just a five-minute walk from City Hall Station.
서울시립미술관은 서소문본관을 비롯해 북서울미술관, 남서울미술관 등
여러 분관을 운영하고 있는데요. 오늘은 그 중에서도 시청역에서 도보
5분 거리에 있어 방문하기 편한 서소문본관을 찾았습니다.
One of the most attractive features of this
museum is that anyone can enjoy high-quality exhibitions for free. Another
great advantage is that you can enjoy art in the heart of Seoul freely and
comfortably.
여기는 무엇보다 누구나 무료로 수준 높은 전시를 관람할 수 있다는 점이 참 매력적인 공간이에요. 서울 도심에서 부담 없이 예술을 즐길 수 있다는 점도 큰 장점이고요.
This time, we viewed Where Beings Be,
an exhibition by renowned Korean artist Choi Jae-eun. The students read the
exhibition leaflets and took their time exploring the artworks at their own
pace. Since we visited on a weekday afternoon, it was relatively quiet, which
allowed us to focus more deeply on the pieces.
이번에는 한국의 대표적인 화가 최재은의 《약속(Where Beings Be)》
전시를 관람했습니다. 학생들은 리플릿을 읽으며 작품 설명을 확인하고,
각자의 속도에 맞춰 전시를 감상했어요. 평일 오후라 비교적 한산해서 작품에 더욱 집중할
수 있었던 점도 좋았습니다.
After the exhibition, we spent some time at
the museum café, sharing our thoughts about the artworks over tea. It was a
meaningful day, experiencing Korean culture in a setting different from our
usual classroom environment.
관람을 마친 뒤에는 미술관 카페에서 차를 마시며 작품에 대한 생각을 나누는 시간도 가졌어요. 평소와 색다른 곳에서 한국 문화를 조금 더 느낄 수 있었던 하루였습니다.
