🏯 Namsangol Hanok Village Activity

One of the most meaningful ways to experience traditional Korean culture is by visiting a hanok village — so that’s exactly what we did!

한국 전통 문화를 가장 의미 있게 체험하는 방법 중 하나는 한옥마을을 방문하는 것이에요! 그래서 이번에는 학생들과 함께 한옥마을로 특별한 시간을 보내고 왔어요.

This time, our students visited Namsangol Hanok Village, a beautiful place where you can see and experience traditional Korean houses and lifestyles. For many of them, it was their first time exploring a hanok village, which made the day even more special.

이번에 학생들은 남산골 한옥마을을 방문했어요. 전통 한옥과 옛 생활 문화를 직접 보고 체험할 수 있는 곳이에요. 많은 학생들에게 한옥마을은 처음이라 더욱 특별한 하루가 되었답니다.

From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by the calm and peaceful atmosphere of traditional Korea. The beautiful hanok houses, stone paths, and quiet courtyards made us feel like we had traveled back in time.

한옥마을에 도착하자마자 고즈넉하고 평화로운 분위기가 우리를 맞이했어요. 아름다운 한옥과 돌길, 조용한 마당은 마치 과거로 돌아간 듯한 느낌을 주었답니다.

What made this place especially meaningful is that it features five restored traditional houses from the Joseon Dynasty. By exploring these homes, students were able to closely observe the architectural styles and characteristics of houses from that time period.

특히 이곳은 조선시대 전통 가옥 5채를 재현해 놓은 공간으로, 당시 주거 형태의 특징을 잘 살펴볼 수 있다는 점이 인상적이었어요. 학생들은 각 가옥을 둘러보며 조선시대 건축 양식과 생활 모습을 더욱 생생하게 이해할 수 있었답니다.

Walking through the village, students enjoyed spending time together, taking in the scenery, and sharing meaningful moments with friends.

마을을 걸으며 학생들은 아름다운 풍경을 감상하고, 친구들과 함께 이야기를 나누며 여유로운 시간을 보냈어요.

Moments like this make learning Korean truly meaningful — not just studying in the classroom, but experiencing the culture firsthand with friends. ❤️
